Ingredients
- 1 (2 layer) package yellow cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 c peanut butter
- 1/2 c melted margarine
- 1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/3 c sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp margarine
- 1 pkg coconut-pecan or coconut-almond frosting mix
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine cake mix, 1 egg, peanut butter and melted margarine in a bowl.
2. Mix to form dough.
3. Press 2/3 of the mixture into an ungreased 9x13 baking dish.
4. Combine chocolate chips, 1 egg, condensed milk and 2 tbsp margarine in a saucepan.
5. Cook over low heat until melted (stirring constantly).
6. Remove from heat and pour over the dough in the baking dish.
7. Crumble the remaining dough over the chocolate mixture.
8. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Let cool in pan and spread frosting over the brownies.
10. Cut into bars.
