Ingredients
- Parmesan Croutons
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tbsp. Packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Ig. Onions cut into fourths and sliced
- 2 cans condensed beef broth
- 2 soup cans of water
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 325. Melt margarine in ovenproof dutch oven, stir in brown sugar Worcestershire sauce and toss onions in mixture.
Bake uncovered about 2 2/2 hours, stirring every hour. Stir in broth and water and heat to boiling. Serve with parmesan croutons.
If desired sprinkle each serving of soup with mozzarella cheese and broil aprox minutes.
