Rolled Buttercream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegetable shortening
  • 1 cup clear corn syrup
  • ½ tsp. butter flavour
  • 1 tsp. colorless vanilla
  • 7 – 8 cups icing sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Place shortening and corn syrup in a mixing bowl and beat until creamy. Add flavouring and mix in sifted icing sugar. Blend well for approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute, after the last of the sugar is added, knead until smooth.
