Bow Ties in Mushroom Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb bow tie pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 cups mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • 2 tbsp chopped onions or shallots
  • pinch rosemary
  • 3/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta, drain and set aside. Heat butter in skillet. Add mushrooms and sauté until golden, approx. 5 minutes. Add garlic, onions and rosemary, and cook until onions are wilted. Add tomato sauce and cream, and cook on a medium heat until sauce becomes thicker, approx. 3 minutes. Add cheese to sauce, combine, and serve.
