Ingredients

• 12 cupcakes, any light colored flavor
• White frosting
• 6 Twinkies cut in half
• 24 white Smarties candies
• Black decorator icing
• Black sprinkles

Preparation

Step 1

1) Bake and frost your cupcakes as usual.

2) Lay the cut Twinkies on their flat side on a plate. Squeeze two circles of frosting for the glasses and place the Smarties in the frosting, smashing them down a bit to make the frosting come out the side to make the appearance of rimmed glasses.

3) Make a dot inside each Smartie with the frosting for the eyes. Draw lines along the sides of the head for the eyeglass arms.

4) Draw a mouth and stick the sprinkles in the top of the Twinkie for hair. Gently stand up the Twinkie on top of the frosted cupcake.
