Ingredients

  • 1 lb Polish sausage, casing removed
  • 1 lg onion, chopped
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 4 med potatoes, peeled and cut in 3/4 “
  • cubes
  • 28 oz chicken broth
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 16 oz shredded cabbage (8 c.)

Preparation

Step 1

Break sausage into chunks in a large pot. Cook over medium high heat 5 minutes. Add onion and carrots, cover and cook over medium high heat 3 minutes. Add potatoes, broth, water and garlic. Bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Stir in cabbage, cook 5 minutes or until veggies are tender. Serves 8.
