Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 4-5 lg. peaches
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • butter

Preparation

Step 1

Beat together egg, sugar & Crisco.
Add sifted flour, baking powder & salt - alternating with milk and vanilla
Pour into greased 9X13 pan
Top with sliced peaches
Sprinkle with mixture of sugar & cinnamon
Dot with butter
Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees



For cinnamon cake - delete peaches
