Ingredients

  • 1

    pound ground beef

  • 1/2

    cup chopped onion

  • 1/2

    cup chopped green pepper

  • 1

    envelope taco seasoning

  • 1/2

    cup water

  • 2

    cups crushed tortilla chips

  • 1

    can (16 ounce) refried beans

  • 4

    ounces cream cheese

  • 4

    ounces sour cream

  • 2

    cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

  • Toppings:

  • Chopped lettuce

  • Tomatoes

  • Sliced black olives

  • Sour cream

  • Picante sauce

Directions

In skillet, cook beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Cook & stir until thickened, about 3 minutes; set aside. Place chips in greased baking dish. In bowl stir refried beans, cream cheese & sour cream until smooth; spread over chips. Top with beef mixture and cheese. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until heated through. Top with lettuce, tomatoes and olives. Serve with sour cream and picante sauce.
