Blue Cheese Dressing with Basil

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) Wisconsin Blue Cheese, crumbled

Step 1

1. For dressing: In small bowl, combine first seven ingredients; stir in blue cheese and mix well and refrigerate for a several hours before using.

Makes about 3 1/2 cups.
