Ingredients

  • 1 cube sugar
  • 2-1/2 oz rye whisky
  • 2 dashes Peychaud bitters
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • Absinthe
  • Lemon peel

Preparation

Step 1

Chill an old fashion glass.
Muddle sugar w/ a few drops water & Peychaud bitters
Add the rye & ice to the bittrs mix and stir.
Discard the ice in the chilled glass and rinse w/absinthe and swirl. Discard remaining.
Strain the whiskey mix into the old fashion glass.
Garnish with a twist of lemon around rim discard lemon.
