Ingredients
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 split vanilla bean
- Few coffee beans
- 8 egg yolks
- ¾ cup sugar
- 6 tbs. cornstarch
Preparation
Step 1
Gently heat the milk with vanilla and espresso beans. Once the milk mix is heated, strain the milk. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and cornstarch. Add the milk, a little at a time. Transfer the mix to a pan and bring to a boil, whisking constantly for 1 minute, until thick.
