Ingredients

    can reduce-sodium chicken broth

  • 1

    c. uncooked long grain rice

  • ¼

    tsp. salt

  • ¼

    c. water

  • ¼

    tsp. dried oregano

  • tsp. pepper

  • ½

    c. diced sweet red pepper

  • ½

    c. diced green pepper

  • ½

    c. frozen green peas, thawed

  • 2

    tbsp. minced fresh parsley

Directions

In a large saucepan, combine the first six ingredients. Bring to a boil. Stir in sweet peppers. reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
