Ingredients
- 2 medium red onions, peeled & sliced
- 2 oz butter Pinch black peppercorn, crushed
- 2 oz sugar
- 3 cups Merlot wine + 1 cup water
- 1 oz dried hibiscus flowers, wrapped in cheesecloth

Step 1
Sautee onion with sugar and butter / add wine & water and hibiscus flowers Cook over low heat until liquid is reduced to one-third
