Baylor Salad

A favorite at Baylor University football staff gatherings.

Ingredients

  • ½ head of lettuce
  • 2½ Cups chopped chicken, turkey or ham
  • 1 large can of water chestnuts
  • 1 package frozen English peas (uncooked)
  • 1 Cup celery
  • ½ Cup green bell pepper (chopped)
  • ½ Cup red onion (chopped)
  • 1 Pint Hellman's fat free mayonnaise
  • 1 Teaspoon sugar
  • 8 Oz grated cheese
  • 3 chopped boiled eggs
  • Crumbled bacon, bacos, etc.

Preparation

Step 1

Layer first 7 ingredients. Spread top with mayonnaise and sugar. Refrigerate 8 hours.

Garnish on top before serving the cheese, eggs and bacos.
