Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c cake flour (NOT self rising)
- 1 T baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 1/2 stick butter, at room temperature
- 1 3/4 c sugar
- 1 1/2 t vanilla
- 1 c milk
- 6 large egg WHITES
Preparation
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients. Beat together butter and sugar untl fluffy. Mix in flour, alternating with milk, slowly. With clean beaters, beat egg whites to frothy. Increase to high and beat until stiff peak forms. Fold into batter, 1/4 at a time. Bake at 350 degrees 20-25 minutes.
