Microwave Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 apples
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed, divided
  • 1/2 c. flour, divided
  • 3/4 c. oats
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. margarine, cold

Step 1

Toss apples with 1/4 c. brown sugar and 2 tbsp. flour; place in a greased 8" microwave-safe deep dish pan.
In a bowl, combine oats, cinnamon and remaining brown sugar and flour. Cut in butter until crumbly; sprinkle over apples.
Cover. Microwave on high 6 to 8 minutes or until apples are tender.

NOTE:
I added halved fresh cherries with the apples and baked in a 8 x 12" dish.
