Cream Cheese Brownies

Step 1

One package of brownie mix-follow directions for cake like brownies and set aside.

Cream cheese filling:
Cream 2 tablespoons butter with cream cheese (1 - 3oz package)

Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar and cream to fluffy.

Blend in one egg, 1 tablespoon flour, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla and set aside.

Spread 1/2 chocolate batter into a greased 8-9" pan, top with cream cheese mixture. Spoon remaining cream cheese on top. Zig zag knife through batter to obtain marble effect.

Bake 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Let cool before cutting and sprinkle with confect. sugar
