Step 1

In mixing bowl beat 2 lbs. cream cheese until very smooth.

Add one at a time beating constantly:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 lb butter
2 cups heavy cream
6 eggs

Beat until smooth and well mixed. Pour into a greased 10" springform pan. Place spring pan in a pan filled with one inch water. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven about one hour or until golden brown on top. Do not worry if cake seems loose. It will solidify as it cools. About 3 hours. Remove spring pan and chill well before serving.
