Pickles - dill/sweet

Ingredients

  • 2 (1qt) jars whole dill pickles
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 T pickling spices

Preparation

Step 1

Pour off all the brine from the pickles. Remove pickles from the jar; wash and slice 1/4" thick. Return to jars. Combine vinegar, water, sugar and spices and bring to boil. Pour hot liquid over pickles and seal jar. Put into frig immediately.

Ready to serve in 4 hours
