- 1 bag lentils
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 3 cups water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3-4 cloves garlic, chopped fine
- 4 carrots
- Parsley
- Italian Seasoning
- Oregano
- Salt
- Pepper
- White Wine

Preparation
Step 1
Clean lentils by soaking them and changing water at least once.
In a pot put lentils, broth, water and white wine. Bring to a boil and simmer for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
In a frying pan, fry the garlic in the oil and carrots. Add salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, parsley, and oregano. Sometimes I also add onion. When carrots are tender add this to the cooking lentils. Do not drain.
