Ingredients
- 1 lg jar picante sauce (hot)
- 2 cans 16oz black eyed peas, drained
- 1 can 16oz white hominy, drained
- 1 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1 cup diced white onion
- 1 cup diced tomato
- ½ cup diced fresh cilantro
- ¼ cup diced, seeded, jalapeno
- 2 chopped, seeded habanera pepper
- 1 cup chopped green onion
- 1 Tbs sugar
- 1 Tbs salt
- 1 Tbl coarse ground black pepper
- 1 Tbl ground comino
- 1 Tsp garlic powder
- Add jalapeno sauce or Tabasco sauce to taste OPTIONAL
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredients together well
Marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours
Serve with tortilla chips
