Beef with Red Wine Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless beef chuck roast, cut into 1” pieces
  • 1 pkg onion mushroom soup mix
  • 1 (1.61oz) package brown gravy mix
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 3/4 cup red wine
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 bay leaf

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a 4 qt slow cooker, whisk together soup mix, gravy mix, beef broth, red wine and tomato paste. Add beef and bay leaf; stir.

2. Cover and cook on high for 6 hours. Remove and discard bay leaf. Serve over noodles, mashed potatoes or rice.
