Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c bow tie pasta or 1 c macaroni
  • 1 c chopped celery
  • 1/3 c chopped onions
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • ¾ c evaporated skim milk
  • 1 (9 ¼ oz) can water packed tuna, drained
  • ¼ c drained and chopped pimientos
  • 2 TB grated reduced fat Parmesan cheese
  • Snipped fresh parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta according to directions. Drain and set aside.

Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375˚. Lightly spray an unheated medium saucepan with no-stick spray. Add celery and onions. Cook and stir over medium heat until tender.

Stir in the condensed soup and milk. Gently stir in pasta, tuna, and pimiento. Transfer mixture to 1 ½ qt casserole. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with the parsley to garnish.
