Ingredients
- For Cheese sauce:
- 12 thin large tortillas
- 12 slices ham
- 1 # Jack Cheese in 1/4" strips
- 1 large can green chilis in 1/4 strips.
- For Cheese sauce
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 quart milk
- 3/4 # cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 tsp prepared mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- dash pepper
- Serving for 4
- Reduce number of tortilla ingredients
- 1/3 stick margarine
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 # grated cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- dash pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Place on tortilla: chili strip, 1 piece of cheese and ham. Wrap i[. [;ace om buttered baking dish.
Pour cheese sauce (recipe follows) over crepes. Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake for about 45 minutes
Cheese sauce:
Melt margarine, blend in flour. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly.
Add cheese, mustard, salt, pepper. Cook, continuing to stir until smooth. Pour over paprika topped crepes.
