Ingredients
- 2/3 cup Hershey’s cocoa
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1
1. Combine cocoa, sugar, and salt in a 4 quart saucepan. Add milk gradually, mix thoroughly; bring to a bubbly boil on high heat, stirring continuously.
2. Continue to boil the mixture without stirring, until it reaches 232°F or until a small amount of mixture forms a soft ball when dropped into cold water. Be sure the bulb is not resting on the bottom of saucepan.
3. Remove saucepan from heat, ad butter and vanilla to the mixture. Do not stir. Allow fudge to cool for 5-7 minutes. Beat until fudge thickens and loses some gloss. Quickly pour into lightly butter 8x8x2-inch pan. Cool. Cut into squares. About 3 dozen squares.
