Penne Pasta with Bacon & Cream

  • 15 bacon slices
  • 1 (8oz) package sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 16 oz penne pasta, cooked
  • 1 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 4 green onions


Servings 6


Step 1

Cook bacon in large skillet over medium heat until crisp, remove, reserving 2 Tbsp drippings in skillet
Coarsely crumble bacon
Saute sliced mushrooms and garlic in reserved drippings 3-5 mins or until tender
Stir in pasta, parm cheese, whipping cream and pepper, simmer over medium-low hear, stirring often, until sauce is thickened
Stir in bacon and green onions
