Ingredients

  • Options:
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/3 cups large flake oats
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 3 tbsp. Splenda
  • 1 tbsp. flax seeds
  • chopped apple
  • berries

Preparation

Step 1

In a large pot, bring milk, water, cinnamon and salt to boil. Stir in oats, wheat germ and flax and return to boil. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring, for about 8 minutes or until thickened. Stir in almonds and splenda. Top with chopped apples or berries.
