  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken
  • breast halves
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and freshly ground black
  • pepper
  • 6 -ounce can pitted black
  • olives, drained2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce (preferably Hunt’s sauce with tomato bits, onions, celery, and green bell pepper



Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Put the chicken in a casserole dish with a cover. Sprinkle with the basil and salt and pepper to taste. Dump in the olives. Dump the tomato sauce on top. Drizzle with the oil. Cover and bake for 11/4 hours, or until fork tender. Serve hot.
