Ingredients
- 8 1/2 oz pkg cornbread mix
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 oz pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 8 oz jar salsa
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese

Step 1
Prepare the cornbread mix according to package directions. Pour batter into a greased 10" pie plate and set aside. Brown beef in skillet. drain and stir in taco seasoning. Spoon beef mixture over batter, top with salsa and cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes, until cheese melts and cornbread sets.
