Chicken Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut in strips
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 T water
  • 6 oz dried wide egg noodles
  • 4 oz dairy sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Cut chicken into 1" pieces. Place in slow cooker with onion. Mix soup and water in a small bowl and pull over the chicken.

Cover and cook on Low heat setting 6 to 7 hours.

Prepare noodles according to direction on package. Drain noodles. Just before serving pour sour cream over chicken mixture. To serve, spoon the chicken mixture over noodles. Top with ground black pepper if desired
