Ingredients
- 1 Pound large mushrooms
- 6 Tabelspoons butter
- 3 green onions, minced
- 3-4 tablespoons minced red bell pepper
- 8 ounces crab meat can be canned and Bumble Bee
- 1/4 cup fresh fine read crumbs I use Panko
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp Cajun or Creole seasoning lend
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Wash and trim the end of stems from mushrroms. Pop remaing stm out. Chop stems and set aside. Melt 2 TBLSP butter; brush over mushrooms. Spray a shallow baking dish (about 8 inch sqare or one which will fitmushrooms in one layer). wit butter flavored spray or grease with butter.
Melt remaining butter in skillet; add reserved chopped stems. mincedgreen onions and red bell peper. Cook until vegetables are tender,. Combine cooked ingredients with bread crumbs, crab meat and seasonings. Fill each mushroom, piling up. prinkle each mushroom witha little Parmesan cheese if desired. Bake at 350 for 16-20 minutes. Makes 16-20 stuffed mushrooms.
