Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 8-10 granny smith apples, cored, peeled and cubed
- 1-2 tbs lemon juice
- 1-2 tbs dark brown sugar packed.
Preparation
Step 1
Pour water into a slow cooker. Add apples; drizzle with lemon juice. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 hours, stirring after 2 hours. Applesauce should ba chunky consistency after 6 hours. If a smother consistency is perferred spoon into a food processor or mixer and puree as desired. Stir in brown sugar to taste.
