Marion Teabo's niece gave her some of this granola for a present and Marion shared it with me. I loved it and got the recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2/3 cups light brown sugar
- 2/3 cup honey
- 6 cups old fashioned oatmeal
- 3 cups sliced almonds
- 2 cups unsweetened coconut
- 1 1/2 cups dried fruit, such as cranberries, raisins, apricots

Preparation
Step 1
melt together:
butter
cinnamon
vanilla
sugar and honey
mix in roasting pan:
oats, almonds and coconut
pour the butter mixture over the oat mixture and mix well
bake in 350 degree oven about 50 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
when done, let cool and then combine with dried fruits. makes about 4 quarts.
