Ingredients
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 large squares of baking chocolate
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Melt crisco and chocolate in small saucepan and set aside.
In large bowl beat eggs slightly, add sugar and stir. Combine egg mixture with chocolate mixture, fold in dry ingredients, nuts and vanilla. Do not over mix, just until dry ingredients are incorporated.
Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
Let cool completely before cutting.
