Farfel Muffins

Traditional Petrovsky Passover farfel muffins. So incredibly good, especially with Saper brisket gravy poured over them.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups farfel - soaked in water, then squeezed out
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 Tbsp shmaltz

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all of the ingredents together and refrigerate for a half hour.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Grease muffin tin with Crisco. Heat tin in oven till it starts to smoke; fill tin 2/3 full of batter.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
