Ingredients
- Filling:
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 carton (12 oz.) Cool Whip
- 2 cans (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour, nuts and brown sugar. With fork, stir in butter until crumbly. Lightly pat into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.
For filling, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Carefully spread over nut crust. Top with pie filling. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
