Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 can (16 oz.) chocolate syrup
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add Chocolate syrup. Beat in flour, nuts and salt until blended. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Brownies may appear moist.
In small saucepan, melt butter. Add sugar and milk. Bring to boil. Boil for 30 seconds. Remove from heat. Stir in chips until melted. Beat until frosting reaches spreading consistency.
