Oven-Fried Fish #3

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fish fillets or steaks
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted

Preparation

Step 1

If fish fillets are large, cut into 5 serving pieces. Stir salt into milk. Dip fish into milk, then coat with bread crumbs. Place in well-greased oblong pan, 13x9x2 inches.

Pour melted margarine over fish. Place pan on rack that is slightly above middle of oven. Cook uncovered 500 degrees oven until fish flakes easily with for, 10 to 12 minutes.
