Ingredients
- 12 large cabbage leaves
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup cooked rice
- 1 (11oz) can tomato soup
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp leaf thyme
Preparation
Step 1
1. Wash cabbage leaves. Boil 4 cups of water. Turn off heat, and soak leaves in water for 5 mins. Remove, drain and cool.
2. Combine meat, rice, salt, pepper and thyme. Divide meat mixture evenly between the 12 cabbage leaves and roll them up firmly.
3. Stack in an electric slow cooker. Combine tomato soup and water and pour over stuffed cabbage. Cover and cook on low setting for 8-10 hours.
