Lacy Cookie Rolls

Ingredients

  • 3/4 C Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 C Butter (1 Stick)
  • 1/2 C Corn Syrup
  • 1 C Flour
  • 1 C Minced Nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Bake 325º 10-12 Minutes
Preheat oven & grease a cookie sheet.
In the top of a double boiler over
hot water, combine brown sugar, butter
and corn syrup. Heat until butter melts.
Stir in flour and nuts. Keep batter warm
over hot water while working. Drop by
teaspoons onto cookie sheet, leaving
2 inches apart. Bake. One cookie sheet
at a time. Cool 2 minutes. Loosen
cookies one at a time and roll around
a wooden handle of a wooden spoon
until firm. If cookies become too firm
to shape, return to oven for several
seconds to soften.
