Crock Pot Pork Ribs with Zesty Barbeque Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2-4 pounds of pork ribs
  • 1 C chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 3/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp hot mustard (I used a spicy brown)
  • 1/2 C dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 C vinegar (I used white wine but apple cider would be great in this)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 C brown sugar depending on your tastes
  • 2 Tbsp corn starch
  • 1/4 C water

Preparation

Step 1

Spray crock pot with non-stick cooking spray
Place meat in crock pot.

Mix together chili sauce, garlic, peppers, coriander, chili powder, mustard, corn syrup, sugar, and vinegar.

Pour mixture over meat and set to low for 6-8 hours.

Before serving take out some of the sauce and boil on stove.

Mix the corn starch with the water and pour in slowly while constantly stirring to make a rich BBQ gravy.
