Cranberry Salsa w/Chips

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped canned jalapeno peppers
  • 1 teaspoon dried cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 green onion sliced
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Step 1

Combine water and sugar in medium saucepan. Boil over medium heat; add cranberries and return to boil. Boil for 10 minutes without stirring. Pour into glass mixing bowl - gently stir in remaining ingredients. Cover directly with saran wrap. Cool to room temperature then refrigerate. Serve at room temperature.
