- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 1 Onion (chopped fine)
- 1/2 cup Celery (chopped fine)
- 1/2 Green Pepper on 2 Teaspoons Pepper Flakes

- 2 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Sugar
- 1/4 Tsp Pepper

- 28 Oz. Fresh or Canned Tomatoes
- 10 Oz. Tomato Paste or Soup
- 4 Cups Hot Water
- 3 Oxo Boullion Cubes
- 3 Tbsp. Parsley Flakes
- 2 Cups (or more) Diced Potatoes
- 1 Cup (or more) Diced Carrots
- IV
- 6 to 7 Cups Chopped Cabbage

Preparation
Step 1
Brown meat, add onion, and others in No. 1. Add ingredients listed in No. 2 above. Then add ingredients listed in No.3 above and simmer for 1 hour uncovered, stirring occasionally. Add ingredients listed in No. 4 above and simmer for 1 hour more, covered. This soup is a meal in itself, served with crusty rolls or french bread. Makes 4 quarts. Freezes well.
