  • 2 sticks (1 cup) butter, room temp
  • 3/4 cup Dutch cocoa powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Line muffin tins with paper liners. Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
With a mixer, cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add flour in 3 batches, alternating with sour cream, mixing well after each.
Scoop batter into cups, fill 1/2 full. Bake 15-18 minutes.
