Sour Cream Banana Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 - 1 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degres. Lightly flour a 10.5 x 15.5 inch jelly roll pan.

Beat the sugar, sour cream, butter, and eggs with a mixer on medium speed until well blended, about 1 - 2 minutes.

Beat in the bananas and vanilla on low speed until blended, another minute or so.

Spread the batter evenly into the baking pan.

Bake for 20 - 25 minutes.

Cool completely and sprinle with icing sugar.
