Ingredients

  • 2 1/2- 3 lb fryer
  • 2 T oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 T paprika
  • 1/4 c dry white wine
  • 1/4 c condensed chicken broth
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • noodle
  • parsley

Preparation time 20mins
Cooking time 60mins

Preparation

Step 1

Brown cut up chicken in 2 T hot oil
Season with salt and pepper
Remove chicken pieces

To the oil add I chopped onion
Cook until tender
Stir in 1 T paprika

Return chicken to skillet
Turning once to coat chicken with paprika, onion mixture
Add 1/4 c dry white wine
1/4 c condensed chicken broth
Bring to a boil
Reduce heat
Cover and simmer 30 min

Remove chicken
Boil skillet drippings until reduced to 1/2 c liquid
Stir in 1/2 c sour cream
Return chicken to skillet
Heat but do not boil

Serve with noodles
Sprinkle paprika and parsley on top
