Ingredients

  • 3 T bread crumbs

  • 3 c flour

  • 1 t baking powder

  • 1/4 t salt

  • 3/4 c butter

  • 2 c sugar

  • 2 t vanilla

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 c 2% milk

  • 3'4 c chocolate syrup

  • 1/4 t baking soda

  • 1 T cocoa

Directions

350' oven Spray a tube pan and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Beat the butter with a mixer til fluffy Add the sugar and vanilla, beating well. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour mix alternately with the milk. Ending with the flour. Spoon 2/3 s of the batter into the tube pan. To the rest of the batter add the syrup and the baking soda. Spoon on top of the batter in the pan. When cake is cooled sift the T of cocoa on top.
