Ingredients

  • sauce:
  • 3 t soy sauce
  • 1 T wine
  • 1.5 t sugar
  • 1.5 t chili bean paste
  • 1 t cornstarch paste
  • salt
  • 1 large carrot
  • 3 stalks scallions
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 6 shitake mushrooms, soaked in warm water to rehydrate
  • 1/2 lb ground turkey
  • lettuce

Preparation

Step 1

Mince the carrot, garlic and scallions. Chop the mushrooms.

Mix the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl.

Add the garlic. Stir-fry for aminute or two. Toss in the carrots and mushrooms. Stir-fry for a femins until the carrots are cooked through.

Add the sauce mixture and the scallions and cook for a minute or two.

Remove from heat and serve in a bowl or plate, along with a stack of lettuce.
