Royal Icing

Ingredients

  • 1 lb powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp meringue powder
  • 6 tbsp lukewarm water (or half water, half clear vanilla)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients and beat on low speed for 7-10 minutes until icing loses its sheen. Cover bowl with a damp cloth while using. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Beat on low speed to restore the original texture.
