Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole wheat bread, toasted
  • 3/4 oz low sodium deli ham (2 slices)
  • 3/4 oz low sodium deli turkey (2 slices)
  • 2 slices swiss cheese
  • 2 pinches nutmeg
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Layer ham, turkey and cheese on toast and sprinkle with pepper to taste. Top with second slice of toast. Heat cast iron skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes. Stir nutmeg and egg whites and dip sandwich in mixture. Coat skillet with spray and cook until sandwich is warmed and egg is cooked, about 3 minutes on each side. Dust with powdered sugar and eat hot.
